Map layers

The map is organized into nine domains drawn from roughly seventy upstream sources. This is the catalog: what each layer draws, and whether it needs an operator key to run at full depth.

Source status

Live — runs without an operator key.
Key — available, and richer once the operator adds a key.
Opt-in — built in, off by default until enabled.

Air

adsb.lol: Commercial, private, and military aircraft; derived GPS-jamming indicators from position quality
OpenSky Network: Global state vectors that gap-fill sparse regions
Plane-Alert: Tracked, VIP, and government tail numbers
Airframes.io: ACARS / VDL datalink detail inside aircraft dossiers
Airports cache: Nearest-airport enrichment on any point

Sea

AIS Stream: Live vessels — military, cargo, civilian, passenger
AISHub: Slower REST backup into the same vessel layer
Global Fishing Watch: Fishing-activity overlay
Yacht-Alert: Tracked yachts alongside the vessel layer
